OBITUARY NOTICES
WALCK, Everett Ray - Services will be conducted at the Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel at 1 p.m. tomorrow for Everett Ray Walck, 64, of 407 Wilson Avenue, who died April 28 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Clifford Byrd, pastor of the Faith Southern Baptist Church of Oildale, will officiate at the chapel service. Mr. Walck was born in Jones county, Oklahoma, and had resided in Bakersfield the past 35 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Local 743 of Bakersfield. Mr. Walck is survived by the widow, Verna; five children, Vernon Ray Walck and Kenneth Walck, both of Bakersfield, Mrs. Leota Woods of Vallejo, Mrs. Gladys Bobbitt of Lockne, Tex., and J. C. Hall of Downieville; three brothers, Woodrow, Leslie and Austin, all of Bakersfield; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Paden of Marysville, Okla., and Mrs Francis Slate of Lodi, and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Garland Spencer, Mike Kresha, Ed Durham, Oran Thompson, Jerry Collins, Melvin Deeds. Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Nicks, Ralph Karnes, and R. C. Speake. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
