William E. "Billy" Ballard, age 60, of Electra, Texas passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Dimmitt, Texas.
Graveside services 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, in Electra Memorial Park with Bob Lee, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Billy was born November 29, 1952 in Electra, Texas to Raymond Ewell Ballard and Peggy Jo Jones Ballard. He graduated from Electra High School.
He and Margaret Ellen Mowat were married July 15, 1972 in Electra, Texas.
Billy was a welder and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Electra.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ballard of Electra; one daughter, Mandy Huffstutler and husband, Brady of Electra; one son, Russell Ewell Ballard and wife, Kesley of Haslet, Texas; his mother, Peggy Ballard of Electra; one brother, Mark Ballard ; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ballard on October 12, 1999 and one daughter, Brandy Ellen Ballard on July 3, 1981.
