The little eighteen-month-old child of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Abbott, living in the east part of town, died Sunday evening at 8 o'clock, after a short illness of meningitis.
The remains were laid to rest in Oakwood cemetery Monday afternoon in the presence of many friends of the family.
The bereaved have the deepest sympathy of all in their great sorrow.
