Betty was a homemaker and a rancher, a member of the First Christian Church, and CWF. She was a past member of the Breckenridge Country Club, Texas Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Farm Bureau, and the Woman's Forum. She received an Honorary FFA Chapter Farmer Award and Honorary FFA State Farmer Award. She married Billy Sam Fambro on March 19, 1941 in Midland, Texas. Survived by three sons; ten grandchildren; 14 gr-grandchildren; one sister. Interment Breckenridge Cemetery.
