Mary Ann Simpson was the first wife of William Sidney Ackerman and mother of eight of his children.
William and Annie were married on the 18th of April 1894 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. There, they were blessed with four daughters and four sons. Tragically only one daughter and two sons would make it to adulthood.
Annie died rather young and i have not been able to yet locate her death record.
She is buried in the Hillside Cemetery with her family.
