WOODBRIDGE - Mrs. Edith M. Aaroe, 38 years old, wife of Andrew Aaroe, of 623 Linden Avenue, Woodbridge, died Sunday at the Richmond Memorial Hospital, Princess Bay, S.I., following an operation.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald; a daughter, Jean, both of Woodbridge; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jaycox; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Doyle of Tottenville.

Mrs. Aaroe was a member of the Woodbridge Methodist Episcopal Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence and at 2.30 o'clock from the Woodbridge M.E. Church. Rev. Carl C. E. Mellberg, pastor officiated. Interment was in the Alpine Cemetery.
