"Irene G. Greene, 65, died March 4, 2003. Born in Calhoun County, W. Va., she was an area resident over 35 years, a member of Grace Baptist Church in Kent, and an avid bowler at Colonial Lanes with the 'Bowling Bags.' Irene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, William Greene; daughters... foster daughter... sons... 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Leona (Earl) Zickefoose and Eva Germano. Friends may call Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Redmon Funeral Home, where Rev. Bruce Chouinard will conduct services Friday, 11 a.m. Burial at Greensburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association."
