Clyde served in the U. S. Navy from 1946-1953 in Company 54 on the aircraft carrier USS Tarawa. Clyde was a manager for Owens Illinois in Glassboro and was a member of the Glassboro Rotary Club and the Keenager's Club.
He was predeceased by his wife Lillie "Boots", sons Clyde R., James R. and grandson Eric.
He is survived by his daughter Robin L. (Joe); brothers Douglas and Dale; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9 a. m. in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11 a. m. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
