Peggy Joyce Black, age 76, of Clarksville, TN, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Richard Stafford officiating. Burial in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 til 5 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Tommy, Danny, Bobby and Dwight Byard and Jerry Edwards.
Peggy was born July 17, 1935 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Marvin Byard and Nannie Mae Smith Byard.
Survivors include her husband, Carney B. Black of Clarksville; four sons, Eddie Knight of Dixon, KY, Gary Knight of Clarksville, Joe Douglas Eads, Jr. of Pleasant View, TN and Vincent Eads of Clarksville; step son, Ronald Black of Clarksville; daughter, Melonie Dillow of Clarksville; two step daughters, Deborah Sampson of Clarksville and Delores Hood of Rector, AR; four brothers, Jimmy, Tommy, Danny and Bobby Byard all of Clarksville; sister, Donna Ryder of Clarksville; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
