"Mary B. Simmons, 89, of North Canton, died Tuesday at Aultman Hospital. She was a former nurse at Akron City Hospital, and a member of Firestone Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and George Brewbaker of Clinton, Mary Elizabeth Taylor of Cambridge, Cora and Dean Frederick of Barberton; sons and daughters-in-law, William H. Jr. of North Canton, Ernest and Louella of Goshen, Forest and Etta of Barberton; 29 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, four great-greatgrandchildren; and sister, Mimmie Jaininey of Rising Sun, Md. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry in 1973, daughter, Wanda Dunham, in 1990, and sons, Jesse in 1985 and David in 1970. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Karlo Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Winston Pike and Rev. Darwin Smith officiating. Burial will be at Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the Karlo Sons Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m."
