Barbara Creason

Barbara Creason, 67, of Cass City, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 in Bay Medical Center. Bay City.

She was born Nov. 17, I936 in Lincoln Park, the daughter of Thomas and Winifred (Schwaderer) Short.

She married Charles Creason Sr. July 20, 1979 in Cass City.

Creason is survived by her husband, Charles; children: Debbie (Harry) McAlpine of Macks Creek, Mo., and Dawn (Tom) Dewey of Cass City; step-children: Doreen Willams of Cass City, Leah Paps of Marlette, Paula (Steve) Osentoski of Utica, Krissy (Brian) Brown of Hemans, Charles (Tanya) Creason Jr. of Cass City, and Jimmy (Katie) Creason of Akron; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Lyn Dewey; a son-in-law, Dan Williams; her parents; and her stepfathers: Lloyd Short and Clifford Seeley.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 7, at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating.

Interment will be in the Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City, in the spring.

Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.

Arrangements were made by Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City.

She was born November 17, 1936 in Lincoln Park to Thomas and Winifred (Schwaderer) Short. She married Charles Creason Sr. July 20, 1979 in Cass City. Barbara was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved life and enjoyed camping and attending church when she was able.
