Services for Janet Lee Tunnell, 39, 535 Gannett, Rock Springs, were conducted Nov. 25 at the Vase Funeral Chapel. Rev. Roy A. Miller of the First United Methodist Church officiated.

Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery, Van, Texas.

Mrs. Tunnell died Nov. 23 at the Carbon County Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident on interstate 80.

A Rock Springs resident since June 7, 1975, she was the owner and operator of Oil Patch Enterprises at the time of her death. She was born Sept. 21, 1942, the daughter of Earl and Betty Russell Williams. She graduated from high school at Cameron, W. Va. and graduated from Dorothy Greaves Beauty college in Rock Springs.

She owned and operated a beauty shop in Rock Springs prior to entering the oil field business. She was married to Kyle Lee Tunnell at Rock Springs on March 13, 1978. She is survived by her husband of Rock Springs; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Williams of Cameron, W. V.; her mother and stepfather, Betty and Don Russell of Akron, Ohio; three sons, Michael Cain, Tim Burdette and Jeff Burdette, all of Rock Springs; a daughter, Christi Burdette of Rock Springs; three brothers, John, Bob and Alan Williams, all of Cameron, W. Va.; two sisters, Marilyn who lives in Utah and Nancy of Houston, Tex.; a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
