Rosa met, and married Lawrence Robb BATCHELOR while he was overseas during WWI. Lawrence's war files show he was granted permission to marry 17 Nov 1918 AND 25 Nov 1918. Can't be sure which one is correct right now, so we'll say they probably married late Nov 1918, and it's probable that he was granted leave between those dates about a month after his brother, Walter, died. His only marked leave around that time is in December of that year for a two week leave in France. At this time I know little to nothing about Rosa's earlier life.
