"Greensburg - Mr. and Mrs. Walter Abele, of 2371 Greensburg rd., will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house 2 to 5 p. m. Sunday at the Greensburg Junior OUAM hall. Abele, a native of Crystal Springs, O., married the former Beulah Traxler Dec. 25, 1919 at the bride's home in Greensburg. Abele, 71, retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1963. He is a member of the Eagles and the Jr. OUAM. Mrs. Abele, 71, is associated with the Daughters of America. Their formula for a long and happy marriage: 'Laugh at each other's little faults and they will never grow into big ones.'"

"GREENSBURG, O. - Walter H. Abele, 77, of 2371 Greensburg rd., died Saturday a. m. in Barberton Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Millport, O. and has been a resident of Greensburg since 1919. He was employed in the Cafeteria of the Goodyear Aero Space where he retired in 1963. He was a member of The Junior Order of The United Mechanics of Greensburg. He is survived by his wife, Beulah; sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Stella) Frese, of Akron and Mrs. (Salomie) White, of Detroit, Mich. Services will be Tuesday 2 p.m. at The Button Funeral Home in Greensburg, O., Rev. Ernest Bloom officiating. Burial will be in the Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
