"Ethel B. Allen, 44, of 308 W. Miller av., died in City Hospital Saturday after an eight-month illness. Born in Beaver Dam, Ky., she had lived in Akron for the last 22 years She had been employed in the tube room of the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. for 14 years. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Delilah Allen of Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Julia F. Fontaine of Akron and Mrs. Alice Carlsen of Albert Lea, Minn., and two nieces and a nephew. Services will be at 2 p. m. Monday in Schermesser Funeral Home where friends may call after Sunday noon. The Rev. Charles Billington will officiate. Burial will be in Greensburg Cemetery."
