"Glenn E. East, M.D., 72, died Oct. 2, 2003. Born in Greensburg, Ohio, he lived in the Green area most of his life. Glenn started in Family Practice with his late brother, Charles. He was affiliated with St. Thomas Hospital, helped to develop an ER room, then developed the Family Practice Residency Program. He then went to Aultman Family Practice as an Associate Director, and worked with NEOUCOM medical students and residents. He retired from Aultman Hospital. He loved sports medicine and developed a Sports Medicine program for the residents. His best memories were as the team physician for Green High School for over 25 years. Preceded in death by infant daughter; parents, Charles and Margaret; and brother, Charles, he is survived by wife... son... grandchildren... stepdaughters... Funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619). Interment at Greensburg Cemetery. Calling hours Monday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Green High School Athletic Association."
