"SPRINGFIELD TWP. - A long illness has claimed the life of Mrs. Elsie Sharps, 52, of 2949 Dellwood rd., Akron 12. She died Monday at Akron General Hospital. Mr. Sharps had lived in the Akron area 32 years. She leaves her husband, Clarence R.; a son, Jerry R.; her mother, Mrs. Ella Butcher of Akron; two half-brothers and a half-sister in Charleston, W. Va., and four grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 1 p. m. in Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Akron, with burial in Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the parlors from 7 to 9 p. m. Wednesday."
