Mrs. Rosina Marx died early Sunday at her home here, was a active worker in the Red Cross to within six weeks of her death, lived here 51 years.
Mrs. Rosina Marx passed away at her home on O'Brien street at 7:30 Sunday morning, following a stroke of paralysis. She was seventy-one years old and all but five years of her life, she had been a resident of Monroe County. Born in Wurtenburg, Germany, November 24, 1847, with her parents she came to Monroe County, at the age of Five years. The Family settled in Sandy Creek, which was her home untill she reached her twentieth year when she was united in marriage to John Marx, and moved to this city, where she has since resided. She is survived by two sons, Gus and John of this city, and a brother John Gekle of Toledo, also seven grandchildren. Two sons and two daughters preceded her in death, and her husband died twenty years ago. Mrs. Marx was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church and has been an active worker in the Red Cross auxiliary of that church untill six weeks ago when she became ill. She will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends in this city. The funeral will be held at 2:00 Tuesday from the home and at 2:30 from the church, Rev. Henry Zapf officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Rosina Marx Funeral Yesterday
Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Rosina Marx who died at her home on O'Brien street Sunday was held at Zion Lutheran Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Henry Zaph officiated. The pall bearers were Fred Gertz, John Guettler, John Leppel, John Hammer, Charles Scheon and William Fuerstenberg. Those from out of the city who attended the funeral were Mrs. M. Loeffler, Mrs. Raynier, Johann Gekle, Mr. and Mrs. Web all of Toledo; Mrs. Vandamn of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gramlich of Maybee. The remains were interred in Zion Lutheran cemetery.
