Mrs. Horace McCaig, resident here most of her life, dies in hospital at age 46. Mary Louise Carter McCaig of 1365 Frayser Blvd, wife of Horace E McCaig, an employee of Ellis Trucking, died at 6:35 p.m. yesterday after a long illness. She was 46. Mrs. McCaig was born in Shelby County and had lived in Memphis nearly all her life. She was a member of Frayser Independent Methodist Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Culpepper; three sons Eugene McCaig, Michael Everett McCaig and Chester Glenn McCaig; a sister Mrs. Ruby Ray; five brothers William Edward Carter, James Carter, and Albert Carter of Millington, Richard Carter of Inglewood CA, and Charles Carter of Amherst OH; her mother Mrs. Myrtle Lee Carter and one grandson.
