Lela wasn't famous in the usual sense...but she was certainly 'famous' in the hearts of many people. She was a very unique person; she believed in aliens,collected fantasy cards loved to discuss quantum mechanics and parallel universes. Sometimes she felt too much, to the point that it would hurt her, but she was always generous not only with her money and possessions but also her time and love. She will be missed a great deal by all who knew her. Only 61 days passed from the time she was aware there was 'something' wrong (Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor), to the day she slipped away, on her birthday. The last thing she said was "I want you to know I can hear what you say to me and I love you all very much"
