Charles Brown, 67, of 812 West Main, a native of New Albany, was found dead in his room at 7 a.m. Tuesday by his sister, Mrs. Isabel Hook, with whom he made his home. Mrs. Hook said her brother, an employee of Breece Veneer Co., came home from work at noon Monday, saying he was ill. Police said Coroner Frank T. Tyler, who was called in to determine cause of death, reported Brown died from a rupture received some time ago. A bachelor, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Nellie Lyons, of Jeffersonville.
