He was the son of the late Dr. Irwin and Kathryn Groh (Philips) Boeshore.
Mr. Boeshore graduated from the Penn Charter in Philadelphia, a member of the class of 1938 and later received a bachelors and masters degree in botany from the University of Pennsylvania.
He was retired from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in 1976, where he was an inspector in the Bureau of Entomology and Plant Quarantine. Mr. Boeshore was also a president of the University Glee Club of Pa., the Havertown Friends of the Grange, and a life member and past president of the Keystone Unit of Waly Byam Caravan Club International, and was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Gettysburg.
Mr. Boeshore was also a life member of the National Association of Federal Employees, and a member of Adams-Hanover Chapter #1797. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Gettysburg chapter of AARP #1776, the Photographic Society of America for 58 years, the Central Pennsylvania Unit of W.B.C.C.I, the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Philadelphia, the National Camping Travelers, an Emeritus member of the American Phytopathological Society, a former member of the Hanover Standardbred Barbershop Chorus, and a former member of Harmony Hills Barbershop Chorus of Zephyrhills, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Jane (Stock) Boeshore and was preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Anderson.
