Kenneth E. Sims, age 75, resident of Mannsville, since 1996 formerly of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at University Medical Center in Syracuse. Kenneth was born October 25, 1937 in Syracuse, the son of Donald and Marion Goodison Sims. He graduated from West Genesee High School. Kenneth married Toni Young on November 26, 2011. He was employed by Bristol Meyers Squibb for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He also owned North Country Wholesale Fishing Tackle. Surviving: his wife, Toni; three sons, Kenneth C., KC, (Cindy) Sims of Memphis, Douglas (Sarah) Bristol of Lacona, Danial Bristol of Virginia; five daughters, Debora (Bob) Welch of North Syracuse, Karen Sims of Syracuse, Tamie (Kary) Cluck of Nebraska, Tracie (Chris) Robinson of Florida, Tabatha Bristol of Mannsville; one sister in-law, Pat Sims of Brewerton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Kenneth is predeceased by one brother, Donald W. Sims who passed away February 4, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Belle Isle Cemetery, Camillus. Donations in Kenneth's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
