Son of Jodie and Marie (Kaiser) Watts. Larry was a lifelong Chariton County resident. Larry was a 1961 graduate of Keytesville High School. He married Sue Thornsberry on January 29, 1966 in Sumner, Mo.
Mr. Watts was a lifelong farmer starting as a teenager and continued until the time of his death. He was a member of the Dalton Immanuel United Methodist Church, was formerly a member of the Keytesville Lions Club and the Chariton County Farm Credit Board, he served 23 years on the ASCS County Committee and 6 years on the Keytesville R-3 School Board. Larry also enjoyed telling jokes, making people laugh and collecting anything associated with John Deere.
Funeral services were held on Friday April 8, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Wegener's Granulomatosis Assn. or the Auto-Immune Disease Assn.
