CENTRAL CITY - David Anthony "Tony" Abshire, 57, of Central City, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:55PM at his home. Mr. Abshire was born January 12, 1956 in Muhlenberg County to Carl and Margaret Shoulders Abshire. He was a welder and boilermaker at TVA, and was a Church of Christ member.

Survivors include his sons, David Lee Abshire and Dillon Abshire; grandchildren Hannah, Gwen, and Gavin Abshire; and brothers and sisters Richard Abshire, Michael Abshire, Nell Bowman, Linda Abshire, Sharon Staton, and Donna Shepherd.

Funeral services are private. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
