Arvil J. "Dude" Sexton, 77, Hokes Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 2, 2003. Burial in Hokes Bluff Cemetery. Mr Sexton was a member of Fords Valley Baptist Church; a deacon of 42 years in the Baptist Assn. He was a Veteran of World War II. He retired from Alabama Pipe Company and Crompton Mills. He was preceded in death by a son, James David; parents, Joe and Rebecca Sexton; and brothers, Milford, Bud and Joe Sexton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret; children, Bobbi Grace, Lisa Nelson, Gerald Sexton, Lacy Sexton; grandchildren; sister, Conola Hill; brothers, Woodrow, Bill, John and J.L.; other family.
