Son of Joseph Walker Snoddy, Sr. and Narcissa Hannah Foster Snoddy. He married Susan Francis Harvey a daughter of that pioneer Howard county family. These families where neighbors and several children married into the same families over the years. They had these children;

Gravestone was broken at the top and bottom. Several small pieces of the top could not be repaired. New base was used.
