William C. Anderson grew up in New Britain, Ct. "Willey" as his family knew him, went on to serve during WWI, first enlisting with the CT National Guard then being drafted in Co. I 102nd Infantry and serving in the Army during WWI. After the war he enlisted again for 1 year from 1920-1921 serving in texas. Bill again enlisted in the Navy Reserve during WWII. Our family and country wants to eternaly remember him not only as being our grandfather, but the service he gave for the freedom of our country.
