Funeral services for Harley Eugene Ryno, 73, of Wortham will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the First United Methodist Church of Wortham. Officiating will be the Rev. Martha Bessac. Burial will be in the Wortham Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Ryno died Tuesday at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. He was born on August 30th, 1929 in Wortham. Mr. Ryno was a Methodist, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and of the Volunteer Fire Department of Wortham. He was also a lifelong farmer. He was retired from the A. Brandt Manufacturing Co. Mr. Ryno was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse J. and Alice I. Ryno. Mr. Ryno is survived by his wife, Billye N. Ryno of Wortham, two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Mike Goodwin and Lisa and Terry Van, all of Wortham, son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Denise Ryno of Mexia, two brothers, Jesse Ryno of Wortham and Billy Ryno of Port Mansfield, two aunts, Beatrice Rosser of Waco and Lillie M. Bonner of Fairfield, and a niece. Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home Chapel of Wortham. Memorial donations may be made to the Wortham First United Methodist Church, or the Wortham Cemetery Association. Pallbearers will be Chris Goodwin, Stephen Goodwin, Keith Ryno, Keith Fleming, Jason Fisher and Rodney Calame.
