Faye W. Cloyd, 105, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria.

She was born on June 19, 1907, in Ullin, IL the daughter of Cyrus F and Rosa McCommons Plott. She married Franklin Cloyd on February 14, 1930, in Davenport, IA. He passed away on July 21, 1982. Also preceding her in death were one sister, Lela Williams, and two brothers, Lee and Ray, all of whom resided in Anna, IL.

Surviving is her only child, Donna M. Johnson known as "My Darling Daughter"; one grandson, Bradley S. Johnson, of Indianapolis; and one great granddaughter, Valerie M. Johnson of Pekin.

Faye worked at Princess Peggy Inc. for 24 years retiring in 1972. She was a member of the former Parkview United Church of Christ, Princess Peggy Retirees Club and Caterpillar Retirees Club. She was a resident of Independence Village of Peoria from age 100 until she relocated to Rosewood Care Center in Peoria at the age of 104.

The family would wishes to acknowledge both the staffs and friends who assisted in continuing her beautiful life with their loving care and friendship.

Cremation Rites have been accorded with a private graveside service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Rev. Stephen W. Barch will officiate.
