Katherine M. Smith, nee Vignola, 87, of Glassboro, NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Twp. with her family by her side.
Born in Glassboro, she was a lifelong resident. She was employed for 37 years as an inspector with Owens-Illinois, retiring in 1980.
Katherine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Henry J. Smith, Jr.; her son, Henry J. III; 2 grandchildren, Michelle Doughty (Raymond) and Michael Smith (Kathy); 4 great grandchildren, R.J. Doughty, Dominic Doughty, Michaela Smith and Hayley Smith.
Funeral services will be in the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ, where friends may call and visit with the family. Burial will be in Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
