Rhonda Ann Mizell
(April 19, 1979 - March 18, 2013)
Rhonda A. Mizell, 33, of Bay a Christian woman with a generous and loving heart was called home to be with Jesus at NEA Baptist Hospital.
Rhonda was born in Jonesboro on April 19, 1979 to the late Merl and Alberta Mizell. She lived all her life in the Bay area, and was a 1999 graduate of Bay High.
She had a kind gentle spirit, and a sweet soul that loved without fault. A blessing to all who knew her, and she loved her family, God, and Celtic, Gospel, and country music.
It is with profound sadness that we must say goodbye to our beloved sister. We will celebrate her life as it was and glorify the life she will now enjoy. We find comfort in knowing that Rhonda is now resting in the arms of The Father and is being serenaded by Angels.
She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth "Darlene", two brothers, Michael (Peggy) Mizell Sr. all of Bay and Jeffery (June) Mizell of Memphis; a multi-generation of nieces and nephews, family, friends and one sad Shih Tzu, Baby who misses her sissy.
Visitation will Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
Service will be Thursday morning at 10am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Family will be serving as pallbearers.
The family ask that lasting memorials be made to the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas in Jonesboro, P.O. Box 2097, 72402, in loving memory of Rhonda A. Mizell.
