ANNA D. ADAMS - 74, of 602 First Avenue, Sterling, died Saturday afternoon in Community General Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell D. Allen, pastor of the Rock Falls United Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. A memorial has been established to the Prophetstown United Methodist Church. Miss Adams was born Feb. 24, 1901 in Prophetstown, the daughter of Ernest and Emma Brown Adams. She was a member of the Prophetstown United Methodist Church. She had been employed at Lawrence Brothers for the past 55 years as executive secretary for E. F. Lawrence and Fred Jones.

Miss Adams leaves a cousin, Mrs. Darlene Brand of Whittier, Calif.; a second cousin, Royce Brand also of Whittier Calif. She was preceded by her parents.
