Also authored SCA 23 (1911) which gave California voters the ability to recall statewide and legislative elected officials. Delegate to Republican National Convention from California, 1912. Early activist for women's suffrage, wage and workday equalization via appointment as Chairman to a special investigative committee for this purpose in 1913. Served on the executive board of the Roosevelt Progressive Republican League of L.A. County, and L.A.'s Political Equality League which was a self-described "men's league for women's suffrage".
