Tyler Wayne Carter, 21, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, March 10, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday.Tyler Wayne Carter, age 21, of Hot Springs, went to Heaven on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Tyler was born on December 12, 1991, in Hot Springs, the son of Raymond Walter Carter and Hollie Lavon Terry Carter. Tyler was Christian by faith and was loved by many friends and family. He was a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School in 2011, where he was a member of the Lake Hamilton Bowling Team. He loved bowling with his friends and hunting and fishing with his dad. After his graduation he became a dedicated employee of Mercy Hospital. He worked in the emergency room for environmental services. Tyler loved his job and his fellow workers, Tyler's smile warmed all our hearts. Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard Thomas Carter and Margie Ilene Carter; his brother, Raymond Seth Carter; and his cousin, Gavin Banker. Donovan Fernandez was one of his closest friends and he will be remembered lovingly by Tyler's family. He is survived by his loving parents, Ray and Hollie Carter of Hot Springs; his brother and sister Braydon Carter and Kailee Carter both of Hot Springs; his grandparents, Wayne and Sandra Terry of Hot Springs; his aunts and uncles, Amy and Dayne Banker of Hot Springs, Ken and Jana Cuda and Karen Goodnight, all of Fort Worth, Texas; his dear friends that were like his own family, Rick and Denise Rowland and family; other extended family members and a wonderful host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Dwayne Mattingly officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rush Fork Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Pallbearers will be Charles Wilson, Paul Sorrell, Lee Jay Sibley, Derek Glomski, Junior Burnes, Ken Cuda, Joe Stanage and Tony Diggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Smith, his co-workers of Mercy Hospital, Ruth Reiss, Coach Utley and Jimmy Jack and Derlene Montgomery. There will be a dinner at the Lakeview Assembly of God Church, 4524 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913, directly following the graveside services, you are all welcome.
