Annie immigrated to the United States from Cornwall, England. She married Thomas Chinn, also from Cornwall. She was a homemaker. Thomas preceded Annie in death in 1958. The Chinns had two sons, Frank Hosking Chinn and Everett Thomas Chinn, who were raised in Detroit, but who moved to Maryland for work during WWII. Annie moved from Detroit to Baltimore in about 1969 after being mugged and suffering a broken hip. She lived there with her son, Everett and his family for the rest of her life. She had long flowing hair, even into old age. She wore her hair in braids, which she pinned neatly to her head. She always retained her Cornish accent. She died of colon cancer.
More to come.
