Mary Ann "Polly" (Black) Davis was the wife of William Davis.

She was the daughter of Black Fox -Inali, the Badger Principle Chief of the Cherokee Indian Nation 1801-1811. She was briefly married to a trader by the name of Pogue.

Her and William Davis' son, William Alexander Davis became a Cherokee Chief/Leader and married the daughter of Chief Arthur Burns.
