Son of Nathaniel Harrison COLLIER and Mary Wilson BROOKS.
Was born 13 Nov 1833, in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.

Nathaniel enlisted as a private in Company D, 6th Regiment Georgia State Troops on 18 Oct 1861.
He mustered out at Savannah, Georgia in Apr 1862. Nathaniel then enlisted as a private in the 32d Regiment on 18 Apr 1862.
He surrendered at Greensboro, North Carolina, on 26 April 1865.
Nathaniel died on 1 Feb 1910, in Talbot County, Georgia.
