Calvin was a Carpenter, City Marshall, and Fire Department Engineer.

He was the son of Abner Wheeler Sr. of Massachusetts and
Susannah (Blanchard) Wheeler who was born 1796 in Littleton, Massachusetts, and she died in Shirley, Massachusetts.

Calvin's paternal grandparents were:
Joseph D. Wheeler & Judith (Barker) Wheeler both of Massachusetts.

His maternal grandparents were:
Calvin Blanchard Sr. a Sgt. in the Revolutionary War born 1754 in Littleton, Massachusetts, and died 1800 in Littleton, Massachusetts, and
Abigail (Reed) Blanchard also of Massachusetts.

Calvin was 71 when he passed away.

I have the original Warranty Deed for this cemetery plot and an interesting note in the "Rules & Regulations" states:
"No horses must be left by the driver unfastened, they must be tied to posts erected for that purpose."
