ABILENE - Edna I. McBride, 85, formerly of Shamrock, died Monday, July 2, 2001. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Shamrock Cemetery of Shamrock. Arrangements are by Abilene Funeral Home of Abilene.
Mrs. McBride moved to Abilene from Shamrock in 1997. She was a member of the 11th Street Baptist Church in Shamrock. Survivors include four sons, Leland McBride and Lonnie McBride, both of Hobbs, N.M., Leon McBride of Albuquerque, N.M., and David Spangler of Phoenix; two daughters, Irlita Giacobbe of Midland and Anna Bagwell of Abilene; three half-sisters, Alyeane Hensley, Nan West and Lucy Paul; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
