Bobby Gene Price , 75, of Price Hill, passed away Sept. 13, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, after a long illness. 

He was born Dec. 27, 1931, and was a son of the late Calvin and Pearl Hudson Price . He was a retired cashier from Kroger in Madison with 36 years of service and was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers. He was a member of Guiding Light Church of Rock Creek. 

He is survived by his wife, Donie Price ; sons and their spouses, Eddie and Janey Price of Robison, Timmy and Theresa Price of Nellis, and Bobby Jr. and Cindy Price of North Carolina; stepdaughters, Wilma Bennett of Wharton and Pat Stollings of Lick Creek; one grandson, Devin Price of Robison; eight step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, June Eddy of Rock Creek. 

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery, Danville. 

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
