Born Oct. 1, 1948, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Carl Ernest and Florence (Evans) Byers.
She retired in December of 2011 as a Budget Analyst for Crane Army Ammunition Activity and was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Mark D. Mullins of Bloomfield; parents, Carl and Florence Byers of Bedford; three sisters, Becky Schick of Bloomington, Sally Dyke of Bedford and Beth Maass of Columbus; seven nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be at noon on Wednesday at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Cresthaven cemetery in Bedford.
There will be no public visitation.
Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society.
