Mr. Ferree was born Aug. 8, 1895 in Wabash county to Emory and Laura ARMEY FERREE. He was married March 29, 1919 at Akron to Goldie SMOKER, who survives. Mr. Ferree had lived his entire lifetime in the Akron community. A retired farmer and mobile home dealer, he was a member of the Akron Church of God, Wally Byom Caravan club and the Internation HET club.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Glendora) SMITH, Wabash, and Mrs. Evelyn LOWMAN, Akron; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary GRONNGER, Silver Lake; a brother, John [FERREE], Seattle, Wash. Two sisters and a brother preceded in death.
Last rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sheetz funeral home at Akron with the Rev. J. D. THOMASON officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
