Haily Alyssa McCann, 3, a resident of Harts, WV, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. Death was attributed to smoke inhalation from a house fire.
She was born September 20, 2001, the daughter of Jerry Lee Bender, who survives in Ellamore, WV, and Stephanie Michelle McCann who preceded her in death on February 28, 2005.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one sister, Katelyn Marie Bender, and one brother, Hunter Allen Bender, both of Ellamore, WV. Paternal grandparents Jerry and Rebecca Bender of Ellamore WV, and maternal grandparents Christopher McCann of Boston, MA and Charity Ross of Wayne, WV also survive.
Preceding her in death was one sister, Makayla Michelle Toppings, on February 25, 2005.
Friends will be received at the F.E. Runner Funeral Home in Elkins, WV on Saturday after 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Reverend Leonard Cash of the Georgetown Community Church will officiate.
