"Two Brothers Go Hunting" that is shared on several family trees. According to the story, two brothers, Martin Patterson Castleberry and Edward Dorsey "Doss" Castleberry left Arkansas in 1902 and went to Choctaw Indian Territory to find brides. They found two sisters: Terressa "Essie" and her sister Daisy Dean "Katie." Martin Patterson married Terressa, and his brother Doss married Katie.
Terressa and Daisy were Choctaw. They were born in Alabama, but are found on the 1900 Choctaw Nation Indian Territory Census. Their father, Williamson Graves Long, and mother Leticia "Lettie" Welsh/Welch lived in the Choctaw Nation, and Williamson became the Postmaster in the Choctaw Nation.
Terressa seemed to have a hard time with childbirth, and passed during childbirth with her last child in 1920.
She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
