Sarah was born the daughter of Mark J. Gudenkauf and Julie D. Sevier-Gudenkauf. She attended Prairie Park School and South Junior High School. She was a sophomore at Lawrence High School and took dance classes at dance City Performing Arts Academy. Sarah was a cheerleader in 8th grade and active in many school sports. She was also a member of the Saturday Morning YouthBowling League at Royal Crest Lanes. Survivors incle her mother, Julie Sevier-Gudenkauf, and step-father, darin Boggs, her father, Mark Gudenkauf, and step-mother, Carol Gudenkauf, a brother, Chase Gudenkauf, a sister, Alexa Gudenkauf, grandparents Willie Sevier and Richard and Anna Gudenkauf and step-grandparents, Mysel and Ron Sheridan. Sarah passed away at the age of 16 at University of Kansas Hospital. Her services were 1 Pm Weds., 3/2/05 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. (page 2B, LJ-W, Tuesday, 3/1/05.)
