Mrs. Arthur L. Bishop
Mrs. Maggie Redford Bishop, 76, wife of Arthur L. Bishop of 915 North 35th st., died Sunday at a local hospital. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Clyde M. and Melvin M. Bishop; three daughters, Mrs. Claude W. Andrews, Mrs. Alfred C. Frances, all of Richmond, and Mrs. Robert L. Morris of Portsmouth; three brothers, Bernard Redford of Raleigh, N.C., Bennie and Joe Redford, both of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Reams and Mrs. Mammie Clark, both of Richmond; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
