Wilma F. (Pennington) Avila, 54, of Martinsburg, died October 30, 2010 at her home.She had been ill for some time.
Born February 27, 1956 in Pocahontas County, she was the daughter of the late Norman H. Pennington and Gaye M. Likens-Pennington.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Wolfe, of Martinsburg; three sons, Billy Pennington, of Burlington, WI, Christopher Bowman, of Mt. Solon, VA, and Antonio Avila, of Martinsburg; one brother, Roger Pennington, of Cabins; two sisters, Sherry Charlton, of Martinsburg, and Linda Pennington, of Petersburg; two grandsons, Jose Wolfe and David Hanna, of Martinsburg; two granddaughters, Rosa Merino, of Martinsburg and Savannah Pennington, of Schaumburg, Illinois.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Sowers, Betty Hoover and Eleanor Varner; four brothers, James , Richard, Robert "Bobby" and Russell Pennington.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2010 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. William C. Crowe officiating. Interment will be held at Maysville Cemetery in Grant County.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday prior to the service
