G, 9th Pennsylvania Cavalry (92nd Pa), and honorably discharged by general order May 29, 1865. He is on the 9th Pa Cav roster as "Drumgold."
He married Anna Rebecca Cunningham and fathered Martha May (b. 06/16/71), Amelia Pearl (b. 01/08/73), Bessie Maude (b. 03/11/75), Elizabeth Wingard (b. 04/06/76), Lewis Turbett (b. 06/10/78), and Thomas Roy (b. 12/28/84). His death certificate lists his name as "Thomas Michael," but his military records all use "Michael T.", and he is clearly buried that way.
