We lovingly called her Clara. This grand old Kentucky Lady was like Steven Foster in life. She lived like an old Kentucky home where the sun shined bright. Loved all who came by it. Loved horses too being in that blue grass state in her early life. Time and wars changed her living place. She found the Golden State to be her final home. Her only child grew up, and she got grandsons and great grandchildren as time went by. She loved her genealogy work, and played music in the Fullerton Kitchen Band. I am sure she played "My Old Kentucky Home" song there. Clara was born a Smith, and made good with her genealogy work in finding all she was related to. She lived within 40 miles of Knoxville, TN. in her early life. At its end, she was only 40 miles from Knoxville, CA. What a difference in her life like those two towns are today. Clara had many relatives in the Knoxville, TN. area but none in that other Knoxville town. Good bye Clara, we all will miss you. Glad we got to be with you in your time on Earth.
